Tastes & Tunes fill North Las Vegas
The city of North Las Vegas will present its sixth annual Tastes & Tunes celebration, a festival of culture, heritage and music.
The fun kicks off from 5 to 11 p.m. today and continues from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at 2200 Civic Center Drive in North Las Vegas.
Admission is free.
Festivities include musical guests, amusement rides, art displays, street vendors, a classic car show, sanctioned boxing matches, dance competitions and the city's first salsa recipe contest.
A variety of entertainment will be presented throughout both days of the festival.
All-day passes for carnival rides provided by Davis Amusements Cascadia cost $25 per person.
