Inkjet prints of war displayed at CSN gallery
"Fallen Toy Soldiers," an exhibit of digital inkjet prints by David Brodeur, opens today at the College of Southern Nevada Fine Arts Gallery, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave., North Las Vegas.
According to a statement from Brodeur, the exhibit "focuses on the technology of modern weapons and warfare, as well as their resulting devastation and humanitarian consequences."
The gallery is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.

One-man play set for Clark County Library
"Connections," a one-man play by Steven Alvarez, will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.
The performance features three traditional stories about native people reconnecting or staying connected with their culture. The tales will be accompanied by images of contemporary and historic elders and people who represent the wisdom and knowledge of those cultures.
The performance is free.
