Page is out

Steven Page, a longtime singer and guitarist for the Barenaked Ladies, has left the band, according to the group's Web site. The report says Page will pursue solo projects, including theater. The news comes several months after drug charges against Page were dropped. The three took a deal in late October to have charges dropped if they stayed out of trouble for six months. In an online statement, Page said: "These guys are my brothers. We've grown up together over the past 20 years. I love them and wish them all the best in the future."
