DON’T MISS IT
MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. PARADE
He had a dream. You love a parade. So celebrate Dr. King's legacy by watching floats and maybe getting a trim. (Last year, a barbershop actually cut hair en route.) Local schools, clubs and businesses will be represented. The march, starting at Fourth Street and Hoover Avenue and traveling north on Fourth Street to Ogden Avenue, begins at 10 a.m. Monday. Call 440-6400.
NATALIE COLE
Natalie Cole tours in support of last year's "Still Unforgettable" CD, the long-awaited follow-up to 1991's "Unforgettable," which also features an artificially engineered duet with her unforgettably famous father, whose name we can't remember. (Just kidding! It's Kenneth, right?) The show is at 9 p.m. today in the Star of the Desert Arena at Buffalo Bill's, Interstate 15 South at Primm. Tickets are $38.45 to $60.45; call (800) 386-7867.
BOYZ II MEN
Boyz II Men plays the Star of the Desert Arena at Buffalo Bill's, Interstate 15 South at Primm, at 8 p.m. Saturday, reminding Las Vegans that the theft of black musical ideas by whites was not limited to the 1950s. (Before the Backstreets and N' Sync hit in the late '90s, Boyz II Men was the biggest group in the world to spew innocuous R&B pablum in multipart harmony.) Tickets are $49.45 to $71.45; call (800) 386-7867.
FRANKIE AVALON AND BOBBY RYDELL
Hey, Venus, your wish has come true. "American Bandstand" faves Frankie Avalon and Bobby Rydell rock a double bill at the Showroom at The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave., 8 p.m. today through Sunday. It's enough to make you bingo your beach blanket. Tickets are $44 to $77; call 365-7075.
