Dance celebrates Joan of Arc

Concert Dance Company and the the College of Southern Nevada Dance Ensemble join forces in a multi-media examination of the life, times and imagery of Joan of Arc.

Choreographer Kelly Roth's 70-minute "Archetype: Images of St. Joan" will be presented 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday in tne Nicholas J. Horn Theatre at the College of Sotuhern Nevada, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave., North Las Vegas.

General admission is $10; students and seniors $8. For information, call 651-5483. A reception will follow each of the performances providing the audience with an opportunity to enjoy refreshments and meet with the dance artists.

The concert probes the French cultural icon's inner voices, outer struggles and the meaning attached to them by skeptics.
