Spring festival to feature wine, food, jazz
The Spring Wine & Jazz Fest at the Golden Nugget, 129 Fremont St., is scheduled for March 26-28. The event will open with a poolside champagne and wine reception from 8 to 10 p.m. March 26 ($35). The grand tasting from 7 to 10 p.m. March 27 ($100) will include wines from more than 50 wineries; food and live jazz will be included. And a champagne and jazz brunch and live auction is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 28 ($100). Other events are scheduled at the hotel in conjunction with the fest. Artfully Sweet, a fundraiser for Southern Nevada Children First, is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. March 27 at Mix at Mandalay Bay, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
