Berenstain Bears back to visit children’s museum

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Lied Discovery Children's Museum, an exhibit featuring the Berenstain Bears will return on Saturday.

"Growing Up with the Berenstain Bears," developed by the local museum in conjunction with co-authors and illustrators Stan and Jan Berenstain and the Youth Museum Exhibit Collaborative, first was displayed at the museum at 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North in 2005.

Based on the popular children's book series, which began in 1962, the exhibit features such Bear Country sites as the Tree House, School Classroom and Skull Rock, incorporating educational exercises in math and reading, role playing and manners.
