Perhaps you've seen the People of Wal-Mart Web site. But there's another place where seeing interesting people is a given. That's why there's www.peopleofpublictransit.com, which features some of the most colorful characters ever seen riding a subway.

Puppies are cute. Hipsters? Eh, not so much. But what about hipster puppies? At hipsterpuppies.tumblr.com, tortured pooches in ironic T-shirts and stylish glasses pose for pictures that simultaneously kind of annoy and tug at the heartstrings. And if you find yourself with one hip pup, you can submit a picture of your own.
