Country star to perform at Super Run car show
Country music star Jerrod Niemann will perform a free concert as part of this year's Super Run Classic Car Show at 8 p.m. Sept. 21 in the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S. Water St.
Southern Nevada's largest car show, Super Run marks its 13th anniversary Sept. 20-23. The event features more than 1,000 vintage vehicles on display and a variety of high-powered challenges for fans to watch, including the roaring engines contest and the burn-out competition.
Niemann's appearance comes just weeks before the Oct. 2 release of his new album, "Free The Music." In addition to a preview of the album, Niemann will perform many of his hits, such as "Lover, Lover, "What Do You Want" and "One More Drinkin' Song."
A 10-year veteran of the industry, Niemann's first success was as a songwriter, penning hits for music artists such as Garth Brooks. He recently ended the "On Fire" tour with Miranda Lambert .
