Journey drummer arrested for domestic abuse

Journey drummer Deen Castronovo was arrested Sunday morning at his Salem home on charges of 4th degree domestic violence assault and menacing, Salem police confirmed.

Police spokesman Dave Okada said they were called to a domestic disturbance at Castronovo’s home.

Castronovo was arraigned on his charges Tuesday morning and is due to change his plea June 30 according to court records.

He is out on bail. Castronovo most recently made headlines for donating money to South Albany High School following an arson fire.
