Off-Strip casino announces 3 closures in its food hall
Eat Your Heart Out food hall, which debuted with the launch of Durango in December 2023, is closing three of its outlets, with another in the lobby closing, Station Casinos announced Thursday.
Uncle Paulie’s, an outpost of the L.A. restaurant inspired by New York delis, closed Wednesday to make way for a concept to be revealed later. In the meantime, the space will host a series of as yet-unidentified pop-ups. Uncle Paulie’s was one of the original concepts in the food hall.
Yu-Or-Mi Sushi, another original purveyor, will close Nov. 10, with a replacement to be named later. Vesta Coffee Roasters locations in the food hall (original as well) and the lobby will also shutter Nov. 10, with a replacement to be announced later, too. This closure comes as word emerged in August that a new Vesta Coffee is under construction at 7120 Blue Diamond Road, Suite A-100, in the southwest.
“These updates come as Durango continues work on its north-side expansion, which will introduce an expanded food hall, a state-of-the-art bowling venue, Moonshine Flats, and luxury movie theaters and more,” the announcement said.
Perhaps the food hall’s highest-profile offering — Fiorella Pasta Bar from celebrated chef Marc Vetri — closed in March 2025. In August, the food hall saw a big-name arrival with the opening of Villa’s Tacos, a Michelin-recognized L.A. favorite from chef-owner Victor Villa.
