There’s a new chef in town. Outlaws Backyard BBQ, 9500 S. Eastern Ave., in Henderson, which closed its swinging doors in March, has reopened under new ownership. And there’s one law it promises not to violate: making food from scratch. It holds true from the barbecue sauce slathering a third of its new menu to the freshly broiled and sliced club-sandwich meat.
“Reefer Madness: The Musical” is no more an endorsement for marijuana than “Cannibal! The Musical” is an encouragement for eating thy neighbor.
Who would remember Alexandre Etienne Choron without Choron sauce? Caesar Cardini without the Caesar salad? And even Ettore Boiardi, without all of that Chef Boyardee stuff?
Best Western Lighthouse Inn snack bar, 110 Ville Drive, Boulder City, received 18 demerits Sept. 10. Violations included raw eggs stored over ready-to-eat foods. GRADE: B
