Show & Tell: Tracy Vietmeier of ‘Raack N Roll’

Meet Tracy Vietmeier

“Raack N Roll”

Hometown: Lodi, Calif.

Age: “Old enough to be in a topless show.”

Enrolled for dance lessons at age 5, but left after a year and concentrated on sports. … Returned to dancing — and singing and acting — in high school. … First professional job: “Showboat” with the Townsend Opera Players in Modesto, Calif. … Moved to Las Vegas in 2000 at the urging of her sister, who lived here. … Worked as a go-go dancer “at every club you could imagine out here.” … Also landed a steady roster of dancing gigs. (“Anything a short dancer can do, I tried.”) … Charter member of the “Raack N Roll” cast. … Other Las Vegas credits include “Nathan Burton Comedy Magic” and “X Burlesque.”

On her scariest
onstage experience:

“I did a magic show in China for a little bit. It was a new stage and had a lot of big crevices in it, and I was in a box, cut in half. … When the magician moved the box, the wheels went into a crack and it tipped. Luckily, they did catch me, but I’m thinking, ‘I’m gonna die. I’m stuck in this box, and I can’t get out, and there goes my head, straight off the stage, with my feet here and my top over there’ (laughs). So it was a little scary.”
