“It definitely wasn’t easy. I was, maybe, a little unsure when I started. Being in the spotlight — literally, an actual spotlight is on you while you’re on the bar — was a new thing, so I was very nervous. But now I look forward to those points of the night when we get up on the bar, especially when there’s someone standing in front of me that I know well who’s hooting and hollering and smiling.”
