On being a professional dancer:
“The best part is to be able to put a smile on someone’s face or entertain people, because when people have a bad day or they’re upset, they look for stuff like that to make them happy and entertain them. That’s the best part. The worst part — and it’s so contradictory — is always being in the spotlight. I’ve always wanted to be in the spotlight, but there are days when I’m just, like, ‘I want to eat a tub of ice cream and be lazy and not care what I look like,’ but here comes 8 o’clock and I have to be onstage in a G-string.”
