Has been singing since the age of 5 and “involved in dance forever.” … Began competing in dance competitions as a child. … While competing in annual events in Las Vegas, caught such shows as “Starlight Express” and Siegfried & Roy. … Holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performance from Southern Methodist University. … After college, performed on Royal Caribbean cruise ships for about two years (favorite destination: Bermuda). … Moved to Las Vegas in 2008. … Credits include the Rio’s “Show in the Sky,” “Xtreme Magic” with DIrk Arthur, “Monster Circus” and “American Superstars.” … Joined “Legends in Concert” just over a year ago. … People sometimes ask if she performs as Britney Spears or Carrie Underwood in the show (“I think it’s the blonde hair”).
On seeing Las Vegas shows as a kid:
“I just loved it. It was exciting to see that (dancing) was something that you could do and make a living doing. Obviously, I was very entertained by it all. … (Laughs) Even, like, when I was in school, growing up, I always worked hard and got good grades but in the back of my mind it was, ‘This doesn’t matter.’ I was going to be a dancer!”
