Shake it for charity at Zumbathon

The Cabo Wabo Cantina is offering music and food and drink specials for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s located in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort.

Zumba lovers and charitable people, unite! On March 20, you can join in on the Zumbathon at Mandalay Bay. From 7 to 8:30 p.m., people are invited to dance to raise money for MDA’s Augie’s Quest. This is a cure-driven initiative to find treatments and cures for Lou Gehrig’s disease, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Toss a coin

Through March, all coins tossed into the indoor rainstorm and the fountain at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort will be donated to the March of Dimes Nevada Chapter. The organization fights against birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. In April, Miracle Mile Shops will sponsor the nonprofit’s fundraiser walk. St. Patrick’s Day

The Strip is gearing up for St. Patrick’s Day. Among the offerings are $4 Cabo shots at Cabo Wabo Cantina in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort. On March 17, guests can enjoy the shots along with $4 Waboritas (their version of margaritas). Beef, chicken and pork tacos will be on special, two for $5. A DJ will spin music throughout the day.
