Jerry Lewis continues Las Vegas legacy

So Don Rickles was sidelined by food poisoning a few weeks ago, but Tony Bennett knocked it out of the park last weekend. Next up in the Octogenarian Classics series: Jerry Lewis.
An amazing, if coincidental, run of Las Vegas legends continues with the 87-year-old Lewis back at the South Point Friday through Sunday, continuing a Las Vegas legacy that dates back to the Martin and Lewis years at the Sands in the 1950s.
Lewis also performed in his Las Vegas backyard back in November, serving up an autobiographical mix of songs, jokes and memories that was filmed for PBS.
More recently, Lewis joined Martin Scorsese and Robert DeNiro for a “Kings of Comedy” reunion screening at the Tribeca Film Festival.
