While most yoga classes feature conventional poses such as downward-facing dog or the warrior pose, Wednesday’s yoga class at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park featured a new pose called the “super mommy.”
The pose involved lifting a child up on one’s feet and stretching them toward the sky.
The class, led by yoga instructor Fairon Quick, was geared toward families with the backdrop of the mountains of Red Rock Canyon.
