Construction starts on new restaurant at MGM Grand
Construction is under way for Hakkasan Las Vegas, a restaurant, lounge and nightclub inside the MGM Grand. The 75,000-square-foot development is expected to be completed by December. The space formerly housed Studio 54.
Hakkasan Ltd. of London and Angel Management Group are developing the space, which includes the main exterior facade of the MGM Grand at the Strip and Tropicana Avenue.
The five-level space includes a restaurant and a new nightclub.
Angel Management launched a website, hakkasanlv.com, to promote the venue. The website has a live construction camera to follow progress.
