Train rolling into The Joint
If you don't start the jokes about how hard it will be for the Hard Rock valet parkers to tell the soccer-mom SUVs apart, we will.
But Train is likely to have the last laugh.
The band headed by Pat Monahan has held its own since 1998, and seems to only keep getting bigger and becoming more of an institution.
Ghiaradelli created a line of "Save Me, San Francisco" chocolate bars, which somehow seems just perfect.
In Las Vegas, Monahan was invited to the opening of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. He covered Elton John's "Take Me to the Pilot" with an orchestra, and crooned "A Song for You" with Martina McBride, who was also his "Marry Me" duet partner.
Train headlines radio station KMXB-FM, 94.1's "Mark & Mercedes' Not So Silent Night" on Sunday at the Hard Rock Hotel. The bill benefits Three Square Food Bank and also includes Better Than Ezra ("Good"), The Script and Ryan Star, whom we first noticed on "Rock Star Supernova."
