How well do you know The Beatles in Las Vegas? — QUIZ

Global Beatles Day, founded in 2009, is a day to honor and celebrate the phenomenon and ideals of The Beatles.

The day, according to the Global Beatles Day website, is to honor “their gifts to the world including, but not limited to, their promotion of peace and love, of truth and youth, and of the expansion of human consciousness.”

It takes place on June 25 because “All You Need is Love” was first performed on the BBC program “Our World” on June 25, 1967. The site says 400 million people watched the broadcast around the world.

The Beatles only came to Las Vegas once in their career (playing two shows in one day), but August 19, 1964, was a pretty historic day for many. The band has since held their own in Las Vegas, as with the rest of the world.
