‘Game of Thrones’ music tour to hit MGM Grand in March

If you can’t get to Westeros, don’t fret: It’s coming to a town near you next year. Or, at least the music is.

“Game of Thrones” composer Ramin Djawadi announced Monday he’s leading a 28-city tour across North America, using a full orchestra and choir to illustrate some favorite scenes from the hit HBO show that will be broadcast on LED screens for fans.

The tour will include a March 25 performance at the MGM Grand Garden. Tickets for the Las Vegas date, starting at $39.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday and can be purchased online at LiveNation.com, AXS.com or any MGM Resorts International box office. Tickets also can be purchased through the AXS call center at 888-929-7849 or MGM Resorts call center at 866-740-7711.

An exclusive presale for American Express cardholders begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Additional local presales begin at 10 a.m. Thursday.

The “Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience” kicks off Feb. 15 in Kansas City, Missouri. It will also play in New York City and Los Angeles, as well as arenas in Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Salt Lake City, Denver, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., among others.
