PIXELS: When aliens attack Earth in the form of classic video game characters, the American president (Kevin James) calls on his best friend and former video game champion (Adam Sandler) to save the world. At multiple locations. (106 min.) PG-13; some language and suggestive comments.

SOUTHPAW: A washed-up boxer (Forest Whitaker) takes a struggling fighter (Jake Gyllenhaal) under his wing in this drama from director Antoine Fuqua and “€œSons of Anarchy”€ creator Kurt Sutter. At multiple locations. (123 min.) R; language throughout, and some violence.

PAPER TOWNS: When the girl next door (Cara Delevingne) goes missing, a high school senior (Nat Wolff) and his friends set out on an adventure to find her in this tale adapted from the novel by John Green (“The Fault in Our Stars”). At multiple locations. (109 min.) PG-13; some language, drinking, sexuality and partial nudity — all involving teens.

INFINITELY POLAR BEAR: After suffering a breakdown, a bipolar man (Mark Ruffalo) tries to reconnect with his wife (Zoe Saldana) and daughters. At Suncoast. (90 min.) R; language.

THE VATICAN TAPES: A Catholic priest (“Ant-Man’s” Michael Pena) battles for the soul of a seemingly possessed young woman (Olivia Taylor Dudley). At multiple locations. (88 min.) PG-13; disturbing violent content, and some sexual references
