LOS ANGELES — AMC’s new teaser for its “Walking Dead” spinoff, “Fear the Walking Dead,” is decidedly zombie-free.
Frank Dillane’s character, who’s wearing a tattered shirt, is seen running for his life, but the pursuant is out of sight.
Fans got their first short look at “The Walking Dead” companion series during the show’s season five finale in late March.
Both shows are heading to San Diego’s Comic-Con in July for panels at the annual convention, which will be moderated by “Talking Dead” host Chris Hardwick.
“Fear the Walking Dead” is set in Los Angeles, and stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Frank Dillane. It premieres in August.
