Tony Curtis’ funeral: Family, friends say farewell

Tony Curtis undoubtedly went out the way he would’ve wanted, in a memorial service and funeral that was warm, funny and affectionate. More than 400 family, friends and perfect strangers who admired him squeezed into a Palm Mortuary chapel Oct. 4, 2010, to pay their last respects to the movie star who had made Henderson his home and Las Vegas his playground. He died Sept. 29 after suffering cardiac arrest at his home.
