Actor Erik Estrada will host the celebration that starts at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tacos & Tequila at the Luxor, 3900 Las Vegas Blvd. South. And Agave, 10820 W. Charleston Blvd., will have a party Wednesday in a 4,000-square-foot fiesta tent with live music, a street taco cart and drink specials. …

The annual Wine & Wisconsin artisan cheese tasting, a benefit for the Nevada Ballet Theatre, is scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Vintner Grill, 10100 W. Chef Pierre Gagnaire will return to his Twist restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental, 3752 Las Vegas Blvd. South, from Tuesday through May 9 to showcase a new tasting menu.
