Las Vegas variety acts headed to NBC talent shows
Proving once again that Las Vegas is the variety capital of the world, two more local acts are headed to NBC.
Acrobat Uzeyer Novruzov will face the judges on “America’s Got Talent” (8 p.m. Tuesday) while The Skating Aratas will perform on “I Can Do That” (10 p.m. Tuesday).
Novruzov, who follows other Vegas-based acts, comic magician Piff the Magic Dragon and father-daughter acrobats Sergey and Sasha Korolev, on “AGT” this season will perform his freestanding ladder routine.
Victor and Jenny Arata, meanwhile, will teach their skating act to a celebrity duo who will attempt to master it. Penn & Teller, Blue Man Group and Jabbawockeez have already appeared on “I Can Do That.”
