Julia Roberts stars in ‘Duplicity’

The story: Two corporate spies, who share a steamy past, team up to pull off the ultimate scam — on their respective bosses.

The buzz: “Closer” co-stars Roberts and Owen reteam in a much more lighthearted affair, but theirs is far from “Duplicity’s” only reunion. Wilkinson and Gilroy both earned Oscar nominations for “Michael Clayton,” while Owen and Giamatti played pistol-packin’ adversaries in “Shoot-‘Em-Up.” And Wilkinson played Ben Franklin to Giamatti’s John Adams in HBO’s award-winning “John Adams.” But Roberts and Giamatti also have shared the screen: in 1997’s “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” when she was top-billed — and he was way down on the cast list as “Richard the Bellman.”
