‘Ironside’ solid, but unexceptional
NBC’s “Ironside” is about a caustic, insubordinate, wheelchair-bound detective (Underwood) who handpicks a team of investigators to solve high-profile cases in this update of the Raymond Burr drama.
It’s like “House, P.D.” There’s some interesting character stuff bubbling under the surface. And Underwood still has star power to burn. The first episode, though, is solid but unexceptional.
