Hang out with the stars at Madame Tussauds

Disappointed that you rarely see a celebrity while tooling around Las Vegas?

Get your fill of them in one location: Madame Tussauds Las Vegas at The Venetian, 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

The museum, an offshoot of the world-famous London attraction, features nine themed rooms with more than 100 celebrities modeled in wax.

Hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. General admission is $24; $18 for seniors; $17 for students and locals; $14 for ages 7-12; and free for children 6 and younger.

Visitors can mingle with the wax figures for photographs or participate in interactive exhibits. Audition for "American Idol" and then listen to a critique from Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest.

A special room features figures of Las Vegas Legends, from Siegfried & Roy to Criss Angel, Wayne Newton and Elvis Presley.
