DJ Chumlee still hoping to judge bikini models

The amiable “Pawn Stars” star Chumlee will DJ at the dayclub Ditch Fridays at the Palms hotel on Friday, just a few months after DJing in the hotel’s Ghostbar Dayclub.
How did Chumlee’s previous Palms DJ gig go?
“I don’t think they were prepared for all the rap I was gonna play,” Chumlee told me. “It’s making a comeback in the smaller rooms in the clubs.”
Chumlee’s taste begins with hip-hop, and includes electronic dance music, but he’s a Lil Wayne man.
“We were all waiting for Lil Wayne’s album forever and ever, but it never came out,” he said of the now-supposed 2016 release, “Tha Carter V.”
“Big Sean made a good album. Drake dropped a great album this year, and an even better album last year. It’ll probably be a classic. A lot of good mix tapes have come out,” he said.
In fact, Lil Wayne has a new mixtape, “Free Weezy Album.”
Chumlee is still hoping to start another side career as a bikini model judge. He said his resume includes judging a Hawaiian Tropic contest.
“I’m still waiting for Miss America to invite me to their competition,” he said.
For now, he’s got this poolside gig at Ditch Friday.
“Everyone’s going to be twerking their booties off,” Chumlee said. “We’ll probably have a twerking competition. Come on down. We’ll see. I may even have a cash prize.”
