Army officer goes rogue in ‘Green Zone’

The story: In war-torn Iraq, an Army officer goes rogue, searching for weapons of mass destruction after he discovers faulty intelligence.

The buzz: "Bourne" again? Don’t bet on it; both Damon and director Greengrass say they’re done with the Jason Bourne franchise, so this topical reunion might be as close as they get. Which could be pretty close; it’s based on "Imperial Life in the Emerald City: Inside Iraq’s Green Zone," by The Washington Post’s former Baghdad bureau chief, Rajiv Chandrasekaran. Oscar-winning screenwriter Brian Helgeland ("L.A. Confidential," "Mystic River") handles the adaptation.
