8 best coffee shops in Las Vegas

Last week we gave you the best area liquor stores, based on Best of Las Vegas rankings. This week, we’re taking care of your morning pick-me-up with the eight best coffee shops in the valley.

1. Sunrise Coffee House

Voters said Sunrise Coffee House, 3130 E. Sunset Road, has the best organic coffee in Las Vegas and has good vegan options.

“A place to be when you want to sit and relax with your favorite drink and a book or your laptop,” one reviewer wrote.

2. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Reviewers loved the friendly baristas at the Coffee Bean, 2200 Village Walk Drive. They said the consistent taste keeps them coming back.

3. Bronze Cafe at the Center

Located at 401 S. Maryland Parkway, the Bronze Cafe was called a “hidden gem” in downtown Las Vegas by reviewers.

“It is difficult to find vegetarian/vegan cafes in Las Vegas, and Bronze Cafe fills this need,” one reviewer wrote. Another person suggested giving the vegan cheesecake a try.

4. Grouchy John’s Coffee

Reviewers loved the friendly staff and plentiful seating at Grouchy John’s, and suggested trying the eggnog latte when you get a chance.

“Grouchy John’s is like a home away from home,” one reviewer wrote. “I am always greeted by name and made to feel welcome.”

5. Sambalatte Torrefazione

Sambalatte, 750 S. Rampart Blvd., makes the list for its great culture and presentation. They also have live music with local musicians on the weekends.

“It’s an amazing culture and venue featuring the best of everything in a peaceful ambience that is my ‘special time’ at least once a week,” one reviewer wrote.

6. Tiabi Coffee & Waffle Bar

Tiabi Coffee, 3961 Maryland Parkway, is a popular choice because of its vegan waffles and reasonable prices.

“Love going somewhere where people have a smile and love what they do,” one review said.

7. Tipsy Coffee House

Tipsy Coffee House, 6496 Medical Center Drive, makes the list for being one of the best places in Las Vegas to get matcha (green tea) and for its unique, alcohol-infused desserts.

“Terrific customer service, delicious coffee and treats, feels like a little piece of Seattle by southern hills,” a reviewer wrote.

8. Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii

This truck is family-owned and has the “best coffee on the mainland,” according to one reviewer. Give the smoothies or the Volcanic Coffee a try.
