Slidin’ Thru slider truck has created a special slider, The Crazy One, in honor of the late Apple founder Steve Jobs. An applesauce-braised pork-chop slider with apple-bacon slaw (and “a familiar symbol branded on the bun”), it’ll be available through the end of the month, and $1 from each slider sold will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Chef Vic Vegas, former executive chef of Addiction at Rumor, will return to the boutique hotel at 455 E. Harmon Ave. with a pop-up restaurant from Monday (Oct. 17) through Oct. 22.
