The “Every Piggy Counts” Pig Out Event, a benefit for Aid for AIDS in Nevada (AFAN), is from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Ben & Jerry’s at The District at Green Valley Ranch, 2225 Village Walk Drive in Henderson. Participants, who get a free topping on their ice cream, will be invited to adopt ceramic piggy banks (which come with paint pens) and decorate them, fill them up and then empty them at quarterly Pig Out events.
