Submit recipes to the R-J’s cookie exchange
The Christmas season usually brings with it Christmas cookies, and the sweet gift of sharing with family, neighbors and friends.
In that spirit, we in the Review-Journal Taste section are organizing a community cookie exchange. We’re asking readers to submit their favorite Christmas cookie recipes with a line or two about why these sweets are special. We’ll choose a selection and ask the finalists to bring their cookies to the Review-Journal office on Nov. 29 or 30. Our top three cookie makers will receive a cookbook.
Email recipes to HRinella@ reviewjournal.com (put “Cookie Exchange” in the subject line), mail them to Cookie Exchange, Heidi Knapp Rinella, Las Vegas Review-Journal, P.O. Box 70, Las Vegas, NV 89125, or fax them to 383-4676, addressing the fax to Heidi Knapp Rinella and marking it “Cookie Exchange.” Include your name, age, city and a daytime phone number in case we need additional information.
Recipes must be received by 5 p.m. Nov. 23. We’ll run a selection of the top cookies in the newspaper and online in December.
