The menu at the new Slater’s 50/50 is heavy on bacon, and that includes its cocktail selection. The salty, porky twist on the Bacon Old Fashioned is pretty easy to replicate at home.

Ingredients

■ 2 ounces bacon bourbon

■ 1/2 ounce maple syrup

■ 4 dashes Whiskey Barrel bitters

Garnish

■ Thick-cut bacon slice

■ Orange twist

Directions

■ Mix ingredients. Shake with ice. Strain into glass. Garnish with bacon and orange twist.
