Skydivers to help celebrate Bastille Day at Marche Bacchus this week

Skydivers will drop from the sky over Desert Shores’ Lake Jacqueline on Thursday during the annual Bastille Day celebration at Marche Bacchus, 2620 Regatta Drive.

The skydivers are due to make their jumps at 7 p.m.

Live entertainment will be provided from 6 to 9 p.m., and events also will include the sabering of Champagne bottles and a release of red, white and blue balloons. The a la carte dinner menu will be served from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Call 702-804-8008.

Marche Bacchus also has announced its summer menu, with such new dishes as a salad with mixed greens, mustard greens, apricots, stone fruit goat cheese and a creamy rhubarb dressing, and Garganelli Bacchus, with fresh tomatoes, basil and ricotta.
