SINGER JENNI RIVERA DIES IN PLANE CRASH

Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera died along with six other passengers in a private jet crash on Sunday, Reuters reports. Investigators confirmed that the wreckage of the plane carrying Rivera, 42, and her team, was discovered south of the northern Mexican city of Monterrey, where Rivera’s plane had departed from at 3:30 a.m. Sunday Dec. 9.
