JODIE FOSTER’S FATHER SENTENCED TO 5 YEARS

Jodie Foster’s 89-year-old estranged father was sentenced Friday to five years in jail for taking $130,000 in down payments for homes that he never built.

Lucius Foster, a Sherman Oaks, Calif., building contractor, could have received as much as 25 years after being convicted of 21 counts of grand theft and nine counts of contracting without a license, all misdemeanors.
