FORMER NASCAR DRIVER JEREMY MAYFIELD ARRESTED

Former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield was arrested and charged Tuesday with possession of 1.5 grams of methamphetamine, the Associated Press reports.

The arrest came after officers searched his western North Carolina home and discovered drugs and $100,000 worth of stolen property, according to records from the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.
