Remember the “boy in the bubble?”

Terri and Chuck Cerda of Las Vegas have two young daughters — Molly and Maggie– who were diagnosed with
Combined Immune Deficiency Disease (CIDD) at the age of three, and are now living in a home that is threatening their lives. “Boy in the Bubble” David Vetter suffered from a similar condition, one that means that a simple cold is a life threatening lung infection.

The Cerda home will be demolished Thursday and rebuilt within seven days to provide a sterile bubble for the ailing daughters.
