The 19th annual Pride Night Parade parade held Friday in downtown Las Vegas kicked off a weekend of events.
Las Vegas historian Dennis McBride served as the grand marshal for the Southern Nevada Association of Pride, Inc. parade held in downtown Las Vegas.
The parade, presented by MGM Resorts International, featured participants from Las Vegas’ gay and straight business community, nonprofit organizations, GLBT service agencies, civic groups, and churches, according to the association.
Pride events continue from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Park, 2601 E. Sunset Road, For more information, visit Lasvegaspride.org.
