Phone rings, door chimes, in comes “Company” — Stephen Sondheim’s groundbreaking, Tony-winning musical tale of perennial bachelor Bobby, his “good and crazy” married friends and three current squeezes. Las Vegas Little Theatre’s production, featuring a live orchestra, launches a three-weekend run Friday; performances are 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays (plus a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. Jan. 27) through Feb. 4 at 3920 Schiff Drive. L.A. Choreographers & Dancers

It’s a double encore for Los Angeles Choreographers & Dancers, who follow last year’s “Patchwork Girl of Oz” with two free programs at two local libraries this weekend. At 3 p.m. Saturday, the West Las Vegas Library, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd., hosts “The Tennis Dances” and “The Tap Dance Widows Club,” which mix movement and multimedia; at 3 p.m. Sunday, the troupe presents “The Tennis Dances,” the sci-fi “Invasion” and the award-winning “A Jewish Child’s Story,” which reflects on relatives lost in the Holocaust, at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. For additional program, visit lachoreographersanddancers.org.

Beamer and Kapono

Hawaiian music legends Keola Beamer and Henry Kapono team up for a pair of performances showing off Beamer’s slack key guitar artistry and Kapono’s pop songwriting chops at 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday in Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center. Tickets are $37 to $59 and available at thesmithcenter.com.

Quarteto Nuevo

Western classical music, Eastern European folk, Latin and jazz combine when Quarteto Nuevo performs at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, at 7 p.m. Friday; for tickets ($11-$13), visit clarkcountynv.gov.

Musical Arts Society

The Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society presents a masterwork concert spotlighting Handel’s “Coronation Anthems” and Haydn’s “Te Deum,” performed by the Musical Arts Chorus and Orchestra; the latter also will perform John Rutter’s “Suite for Strings” during the 3 p.m. Sunday concert at UNLV’s Artemus Ham Hall. Tickets ($10-$20) are available at unlv.edu/pac.
