Paul Oakenfold DJs at Hard Rock's dayclub pool Saturday. It's hard to overstate Oak's influence as the person who has most popularized electronic dance music in America.

He made Ibiza happen. Then, all by himself, he made electronic dance music explode in Vegas four years ago, so he is responsible for launching the club/dayclub pool party scene here.

What's more, his "Bunkka" album in 2002 launched what we now think of as popular EDM singles in America, with his hits "Ready Steady Go," "Starry Eyed Surprise" and much of the soundtrack of "The Borne Identity."
