Natalia Lafourcade
Recorded live to tape with 18 musicians, “Cancionera” — the 11th studio album from Mexican titan of song Natalia Lafourcade — resonates with an organic pulse as lived-in as the emotions mined on this beatific, heart-stopping LP, which deservedly took home the 2026 Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album. See her at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center. Tickets start at $46; thesmithcenter.com.
thursday
The Kid Laroi
“What happens to the things that we planned?” The Kid Laroi wonders over a murky beat and sped-up soul sample on the opening cut of his latest album, “Before I Forget,” in which his heart is a piñata continually whacked at by former lover/fellow pop star Tate McRae — at least according to the Australian singer/rapper. It’s a breakup album of epic proportions — literally, the deluxe version of “Forget” spans 24 cuts — a dam burst of emotion drenching all in its path. See him at 8 p.m. Thursday at the BleauLive Theater at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Tickets start at $76; ticketmaster.com.
World Cup
Kick off the World Cup with celebrations at Circa and the new Tailgate Beach Club.
