Nevada Ballet’s production of the show marks the second time it’s ever been performed in the United States. The show premiered in New Zealand in 2019. It features an original score by composer Claire Cowan. Costumes for the show were made by Kate Hawley, who recently won an Academy Award for her work in Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein.”

The ballet is running for six shows. It premieres at 7:30 p.m. Friday. For tickets, visit nevadaballet.org.
