EDC warms up the party with dazzle on Strip — PHOTOS

The Electric Daisy Carnival parade brought some major league energy to the Strip on Thursday.

On the eve of the world’s biggest electronic dance music festival’s return to Vegas, Electric Daisy Carnival blossomed in yet another new direction on Thursday with the World Party Parade.

The free event debuted on the north end of the Strip, where over 30 art cars and hundreds of performers passed by Circus Circus, Resorts World, the Fontainebleau, Sahara Las Vegas and other properties before ending with a festive gathering at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

This weekend, EDC commemorates its 30th anniversary with another sold-out lineup expected to draw well over 500,000 fans to Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
