Smashburger hot spot of Miami Beach opens on Las Vegas Strip

A real redhead lies behind Redhead Burger. Two redheads, in fact. Brothers.

On Thursday, Redhead Burger of Miami Beach, from the Mounayyer brothers (Sammy and Christian), commences the smashing in Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian on the Las Vegas Strip.

“We are so excited to bring Redhead Burger to another classic tourist destination: Las Vegas!” Sammy Mounayyer said in a Thursday announcement.

On the menu

Smashburgers with patties fashioned from a proprietary beef blend anchor the menu: a Classic Burger or Double Cheeseburger with classic fixings; a Hangover Burger layering double patties, a fried egg, applewood-smoked bacon, potato tots and American cheese; a Redhot Burger stacking up two patties, pepper jack, applewood-smoked bacon and jalapeños; and a Redhead Burger groaning with triple patties, triple American cheese, caramelized onions and pickles.

Beyond beef, there is a Crisp Chicken sandwich with lettuce, pepper jack and caramelized onions, and a Mushroom Burger outfitted with a battered and fried portobello patty, plus lettuce and tomato. All burgers and sandwiches report for duty with potato buns and Redhead sauce.

Joining on the side: potato tots or house-cut French fries in regular, Cajun-spiced or loaded. Milkshakes (classic flavors, dulce de leche, Oreo and more) and draft beer on tap round out the menu.

Couch patties

The new Redhead Burger occupies the former Casanova restaurant space in the Grand Canal Shoppes, with a red-and-white color scheme and 50 seats across the dining room, the terrace and the prized Burger Couch. Redhead Burger will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. Visit redheadburger.com.
